Topic: shampoos and conditioners for traditional colored treated hair

Hello-

I was amazed how pure your ingredients are- no parabens, no sls, etc!! And from what I can tell no grapefruit or coconut ingredients to which I am allergic too.  I was wondering though-  which shampoos if any- are good for color treated hair (not colored by henna) to preserve the color?  I would hate for my color to fade using an organic shampoo.  Also, the henna colors- do you have color pics so we can see what they look like ahead of time?

Thanks,

Sara R.

Re: shampoos and conditioners for traditional colored treated hair

I was advised to do a test before henna-ing my hair. My hair goes towards red very easily. I have dark brown hair and if I'm not careful, it will head to too much red. I haven't gotten my dark brown henna yet, but what I've done is taken hairs from the tub and collected enough so when I do get it, I will henna it to see what the actual color will be for me as I'm sure individuals can differ or henna can have a different color effect on different people. Then if I like what I see, I'll do my hair. I think henna keeps for at least a few days, and that's when they say you'll see the real color you are left with. Right Anthony?

Re: shampoos and conditioners for traditional colored treated hair

the best shampoo for colored treated hair is PINE SHALE.
for MM henna all 4 flavors are excellent and will not fade.
***UPDATE: Morrocco Method now has 5 shampoos.***
because each individual comes out different with MM henna there are NO EXACT COLOR PICTURES the colors shown are very general.  Also all the grey hair will come out as highlights/shading and it will darken but not lighten.
As for the color test.
when one mixes henna it will only last two hours with processing power.
so do not mix more then needed as it will not be useful the next day.
Great Journey and Happiness with Pure and simple natural colors

So the Pine Shale  will not fade traditionally color treated hair?    As for the henna- so basically one does not know exactly what the color will turn out like?

Thanks so much!!
