Topic: Question for Mr. Morrocco

Hi Mr. Morrocco,

I was wondering if you could help me with this question.
Background: I'm almost 3.5 weeks into using MM and I've tried to follow all the instructions.  No difference in shedding for the first two weeks but a lot more now.  I'm done with the initial 3 week detoxing as well so am hoping that this will normalize soon (though honestly I was pretty natural before I started MM as well so detoxing should not take its toll on my hair).

Question: I see thinning on the crown area (I'm female and in my early 30s).  I'm considering Shen Min topical in combination with MM (once I'm past the first 90 days of course) and was wondering what you think of its ingredients:

Purified Water, Glycerin (from vegetable), Jojoba Oil, Herbal Blend Hair Complex, Lecithin, PEG-40 Stearate, Steareth 20, Tilisina Complex, Cholesterol,
Trichopeptide, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Retinyl Palmitate, Tocopherol Acetate, He Shou Wu Extract, Saw Palmetto Extract, Nettle Extract, Nicotinic Acid,
Pantothenic Acid, Propyl Gallate, Biotin, Chamomile Extract, Soap Bark Extract, Eucalyptus Extract, Takanal, Carbomer, Polysorbate 20, Phenonip, Aminomethyl
Propanol, Disodium EDTA.

I would appreciate your response.

Re: Question for Mr. Morrocco

for this ingredient its very toxic and very chemical  I have been familiar with this product before

Purified Water, Glycerin (from vegetable), Jojoba Oil, Herbal Blend Hair Complex, Lecithin,

and peg with numbers is literally PAINT and very toxic

PEG-40 Stearate, Steareth 20,

Tilisina Complex, Cholesterol,
again any word one cannot pronounce nor has a natural plant name is made in a lab:
Trichopeptide,
Hydrolyzed Soy Protein,
again more ingedients made in a laboratoryRetinyl Palmitate, Tocopherol Acetate,

He Shou Wu Extract, Saw Palmetto Extract, Nettle Extract,

these ingredients are not natural for certain.Nicotinic Acid,
Pantothenic Acid, Propyl Gallate, Biotin,

Chamomile Extract, Soap Bark Extract, Eucalyptus Extract,

again more chemical names and chemical preservatives - Takanal, Carbomer, Polysorbate 20, Phenonip, Aminomethyl
Propanol, Disodium EDTA.

so most of these ingredients are quite toxic/chemical and made in a labratory.

again we do not recommend using anything else along with MM to see results:'
certainly natural results.
as for shedding

any weak hairs will come out doing detox
if you are shedding then these hair follicles will fall out sooner or later detox is creating the need to shed at this time.
Do not be alarmed as one needs to detox, reconstruct ones scalp and grow back healthy strong hair follicles.

more brushing, scalp massaging to get air and blood into the scalp and growth patterns

and do not mix any other product with MM or you will not get natural results nor true dexoxing for more hair growth.

Re: Question for Mr. Morrocco

Hi,
I just wanted to say to you that I"m in my 4th month, and at first I was going thru the same as you.  i can honestly say that I am filling in the thin parts on my scalp.. I am in my late 40's and have been losing hair since I was 21.  That's a long time.  So amazingly there is hope.. You just have to stick with it... Also diet is very important.. 60 percent fruits and vegetables and an Ayurvedic lifestyle as much as you can..hang in there!

Re: Question for Mr. Morrocco

Thanks so much for the encouraging words, which will inspire me to keep up!
I generally try to eat healthy and am into a fairly regular working out routine as well.
Also, I'm not sure if you like vitamins, but for me, GNC's ultra nourishair has helped a lot.
My biggest problem now seems to be detangling.  With type 3C/4A BSL hair, MM doesn't make it easy to detangle.  I've read other people's experience using ACV to help that but it's not helping me unfortunately. So I'm tempted to use Aubrey's conditioners to help with that (Aubrey being my only other trusted natural line) but I must resist.

Mr. Morrocco, if you're reading this, would you please advise if that's going to be problematic?  I know you recommend using MM and nothing else but under these circumstances (that is, I don't even try to detangle because it's impossible without more creamy conditioners -but I still maintain defined curls luckily)  I've tried the oil as well with all the instructions but detangling doesn't become any easier.

Re: Question for Mr. Morrocco

tangles
suggestions:
first of all cut ones ends even 1/4 of an inch monthly to seal the ends and stop the split ends
you can do it yourself
after shower brush down wet hair take the ends and just blund snip cut the ends
you will see an improvement immediately and keep it up per month
cut the ends minimun once per season

also use Euro organic oil after towel drying on the ends a few drops massage into ends and gently comb or brush the ends from the end working upward.

just a few drops will do the trick

there are all tips on how to proceed with 100% natural ways toward luxurious and Natural Hair care.

Re: Question for Mr. Morrocco

hi hengam,

i have a question for you about GNC's ultra nourishair... did you see completely new hair growth when using those pills or did your hair just grow faster? :-)

Warm wishes,

Re: Question for Mr. Morrocco

Good morning MacKey,

The first time I started taking GNC U.Nou. from Nov. 2006 to Feb. 07, the immediate result was more growth in terms of length and much hairloss as well. I hadn't quite realized there was new growth myself at the time. I stopped that and switched to GNC Women's Ultra Mega till last week or so but am taking U. Nou. again now.  it seems there's a lot of visible new growth (perhaps starting from a few months ago) which must be the result of the GNC vitamins.  Long story short, I believe it helps the length more and it's of lesser, but still considerable, help to new growth as well.  Hope this helps!

Re: Question for Mr. Morrocco

Hi Hengam,

Thank you so much :-) i don't have a problem with the rate of which my hair is growing, but my once nice and thick hair have thinned over the past decade (i'm 28) because of a severe ithcing scalp, and certainly also because of how i've abused my scalp and hair when i was a teenager, dying my hair a lot, plus a perm and never natural shampoos. i only started MM a year ago and while my scalp and hair have improved, then i still have not seen new growth, but i am positive i will some day sooner rather than later :-) i just really want back what i've lost.

All the best,
MacKey

Re: Question for Mr. Morrocco

good morning MacKey

hope this is not lecturing, and you might already be aware of it nomicons/smile

but i just thought to bring
longhaircommunity.com
to your attention. it's not only for long-haired folks; there's tons of good advice on how to fight thinning and ways to improve the thickness. many are not natural solution/products, but agood deal is so as well.  so you can pick and choose of course.  also many nice and sympathetic people on the same journey ... so an encouraging community.  i personally don't have much time to participate but i try to lurk there for information when i have some free time.

sorry if that's not what you're looking for nomicons/smile

since you and i are in the ame age range and struggling with more or less the same issue of thickness, i would love to know about your progress!

best,
-h

Re: Question for Mr. Morrocco

Dear Concerned

Longhairlovers is not a natural site by any means

I have been in contact with the founder and owner of this site many times
she does not believe in educating thru Wellness and Natural means

sorry to say she is in deniel!

I do not agree with this site in many ways even though they do profess to be into growing long hair its not a very healthy way to be toward ones health and well being especially when it comes to ones CROWN CHAKRA.

Education and understanding is the only way to be toward respecting ones health and the health of our loved ones/family/friends/community.

Wishing you Natural Solutions and Great Health

Re: Question for Mr. Morrocco

I was refering to the longhaircommunity.com and not longhairlovers. In fact, I am not even familiar with the latter.  That was in response to a question regarding different types of hair and also sharing experience with thinning and receiving encouragement and recipes.  Not all that is there is natural but some are so one can use one's judgment.

Re: Question for Mr. Morrocco

Dear Concerned

I stand corrected
never looked at that site
longhaircommunity.com but now that mentioned will be glad to check it out.
and yes of course not all sites are natural and one can gleem healthy tips and info from many.

and of course using ones judgment is most positive.

Wishing you Great Health and Luxurious Hair
Anthony
