Topic: proper technique to prepare hair for swimming in chlorine pool

What is the best way to protect my hair while swimming.  I'm a triathlete and swim frequently in a university pool (chlorinated).  Though chlorine is not good for me or the hair, I have no choice of other places to swim.  The lake where the races are held is pristine and beautiful - full of natural energy - but is not open for swimming other than the race day.  So, I always where a swim cap, but my hair does get wet under it.

Would it be good to first wet hair, soak in chi conditioner (what kind??) then braid with leather tie and secure up into a swim cap?? Then after swim, rinse out and wash with sea essence??

thanks for the advice.

Re: proper technique to prepare hair for swimming in chlorine pool

Dear Swimmer

first shower before swimming as dry hair absorbs 100% of the pool water.
then use some Euro Oil thru the hair to protect it
and a swimming cap is most helpful
after swimming
shampoo with apple cider vinegar shampoo
and finish off with pure apple cider vinegar from a health food store.
rinse and towel dry.
this will help for all areas of concern
and good exercise and Health
